The Glass Deckhouse (South Peak View)

We loved this get away to connect in nature. Beautiful views, a clean bathhouse, and comfortable sleeping. Especially loved the record player and music selection while we sipped coffee in the mornings!

My husband and I are obsessed! We didn’t want to leave and go back to reality. The glass deckhouse is gorgeous with a beautiful view. You do have a neighbor but you can’t really hear them very much. We love the fact that dogs are allowed it makes getting away with our reactive rescue much easier. Our pup did wonderful even though there were other pups on the property we never ran into anyone. My husband would take him on walks on the trail and they would be gone for hours exploring the property and the national forest. They even ran into a family of deer. I got to stay back with a book for some peace and quiet. Free coffee and a sauna are a plus. The only “bad” thing is the bathhouse is quite a trek from the glass deckhouse, but they gave that warning prior and I had an injured ankle at the time. So nothing they could really do better on their part. We will definitely be back! Thank you Outside Design for the peaceful getaway! 💕

This whole property is absolutely amazing! My now husband and I stayed at the South Peak View for our honey moon and it did not disappoint. The views are stunning. Great accommodations, including updated and clean bath house, sauna, grills, mini fridges, etc. Everything you would ever need for a great trip. The property also has its own nature trail. Salida is a cute little mountain town not far. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves nature and wants a unique getaway.

The site is BEAUTIFUL and Ben and Hannah have created an amazing place to stay. Everything is thoughtfully equipped and the South Glass Deck House has incredible views. We can’t wait to come back!

I loved my stay at the Glass Deckhouse. The views were beautiful, the cabin was super comfy, and the sauna was a much needed plus. Would definitely stay again. My only suggestion, which I believe they stated to be working on, is getting a bathroom up the hill.
